Down by 2 goals away to Southampton... he could be back on the job market in a couple of days. He's had a bit of an up and down time since he left West Ham, but he's bound to have learned a bit since then? His current situation at Newcastle has been pretty uncomfortable for quite a while now... and he's always said he's got "unfinished business" at West Ham...
I know we do this topic every now and again. But what do you think right now?

Pardew goes into a club does well for one maybe top wack two seasons then fucks things up. His ego always gets in the way of him doing his job. He always falls out with someone-normally his players- and ends up losing the dressing room.
The mans a phoney and along with his arse licking pal Woodman who has nicked a living of the back of Pardew for years should count his lucky stars Ashley has kept him as long as he as.
In other words keep the cunt as far away from West Ham as possible.

There's a hell of a lot of shit being spoken on this thread. If you'd rather have Allardyce than Pardew you simply aint West Ham.
Nobody's saying Pardew is the ideal choice, but is he better than Allardyce? Of course he fucking is. And that is what the original poster was asking.

Comma, a few weeks before the end of our second season in the Champ we were about tenth on the table and had to rely on other results to even get into the top six.
We were lucky that a number of results - some of them unexpected - went our way.
There's a huge amount of selective memory around Pardew's tenure here.
